Rachel Bilson decided to diversify her life by starting her own page named Ask Rachel for InStyle magazine.
She will write a Q&A, and try to answer reader’s questions concerning all areas of style. The actress will profile her favorite Spring items, including Lela Rose for Payless flats, Lanvin sandals, and Matta scarves.
But this is not a job that Bilson is going to do full-time:
I am not planning on quitting my day job to be a full-time fashion editor, although I am really enjoying it and it intrigues me very much, I’m actually flattered more than anything that people want to ask me questions about style. I am honored to do it.”
Rachel seems to have her own feeling of style. When she was asked if it’s OK to wear a big shoulder bag with a cocktail dress, she responded:
You can absolutely wear a large purse with a party dress. In fact, I prefer it. Of course, it shouldn’t be the size of a carry-on, and anything with an overly large strap is too casual. But a funky purse can offset the fuss of fancy.”
Not a bad answer!
