Charity is great and the more people turn to it the better. Rachel Bilson has been the latest to join the group of those who help underpriviledged.

The actress, fashion designer and InStyle contributing editor has created a diamond bracelet to benefit the Diamond Empowerment Fund, a non-profit organisation that supports education in Africa.
Rachel understood she wanted to do something for those in need while she was visiting Botswana and South Africa last month. She went to Africa to learn about improvements made in the diamond mining industry.

The bracelet Rachel designed looks nice. It is made up of brown leather cords, with a gold charm framing a dainty round diamond. It won’t be too expensive – $100, and $20 from the sale of each piece will go to the Fund to build student housing at the CIDA City Campus, a university in Johannesburg which is the country’s first to be virtually free.
The jewellery is available exclusively through InStyle.com.
Rachel has never worked on jewelry but she has some experience in making clothes. She has her own clothing range Edie Rose, which is rather successful. But she says she needs to learn a lot to become a professional.
She said:
I can’t draw at all, so I won’t be doing any sketches, but I am learning to sew. I think it’s important to know more about the whole process of making clothes.”
