Stella McCartney – no baby dresses!

Stella McCartney has recently said she hates when babies wear dresses. Respected designer thinks infants in gowns look wrong.

The mother-of-three said:

Oh, they look so silly, little babies in dresses. It looks wrong.”

Stella has just created a children’s range for GapKids. She said it was just what she had been planning to do for a long time:

For years now I’ve wanted to create a collection for kids.”

The range includes pieces in size from newborn to age 12 and is described as perfect for all occasions:

I think this collection has a mix of the playful and practical. It’s a reflection of my brand, there are pieces that are classic and very sort of timeless and hopefully very chic, and then there are pieces that are the kind you chuck in the washing machine and they get better with time and, you know, they are funny and hopefully a little bit cool.”
