The star of Project Runway Tim Gunn has been chosen to be a face of a new campaign for PETA, The Telegraph reports.
An ad video starring Gunn will be presented at the Bryant Park Hotel at New York Fashion Week in February 2009.
Dan Matthews, the senior vice-president of PETA, and Tim Gunn will take a forum there to outline the organisation’s main role in the fashion industry, its tactics and objectives.
As you know PETA has their sensationalising actions over fur wearing celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan and others.
Mr. Gunn is a style preceptor on Project Runway and also hosts his show named Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.
Others celebrities supporting PETA are Paul McCartney, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Pamela Anderson and Christy Turlington.
