With reference to your no 2. Cheap clothes can be worn with style by someone of quality. The way you carry yourself can never cheapen your look. People are alway stunned when I tell them how cheap my garments are and I do get comments that I don’t make it look cheap compared to if someone else had to wear it. So go for cheap if you can rock it.

It shouldn’t be about the price of clothes, but about the quality of material and labor. There are some heinously priced items from designers that fall apart just as quickly as items of quality from a lower price point and less known brand.
Plus, according to many fashion mags, pairing higher priced designer items with special thrift shop finds, is a very “in” trend right now.
