Badgley Mischka Fall 2009

Yesterday was the fifth day of New York Fashion Week. Many famous designers presented their marvelous collections.

Among them I want to single out Badgley Mischka’s line which impressed me a lot.
The whole collection is classy and sophisticated. Luxurious fabrics, plenty of sequins, nice perfect accessories made the attires really wonderful.

The collection included many evening gowns which were absolutely stunning. And the color palette is amazing: chic black, wine red, scarlet, bright yellow, gold, rich blue – all in perfect style and fabulous detailing.

Styles of neckline vary a lot: corsets, one shoulder, asymmetrical styles, V-necks – were widely presented in the line of dresses.

Beside evening gowns the collection had garments of a more classic style which could be worn to office as well. Created in chic black and pared with black opaque tights and perfect black shoes the attires look pretty elegant.

We saw plenty of accessories on models rocking Badgley Mischka’s clothes: bags, mostly luxurious clutches; gloves; bracelets and earrings, huge but extremely feminine; rings, chains, pendants and necklaces.

In conclusion I want to say that Badgley Mischka have been able to create garments of high-class and pure sophistication. The items are worth being donned by our fave celebs and even the first lady!
