Hotter micro-minis and tropical prints, low-slung and lazy camouflage trousers and disguise “garcon” jackets, a hint of bondage and a slew of kaftan views in sizzling brights were just some of the features of Giannini’s latest collection for Gucci at Milan Fashion Week.

Attractive romper-suits and anoraks in khaki and sawn-off shorts, dresses with webbing belts, Army leftover T-shirts dazzled teh catwalk. This view had a physical military aura, while beige “bush-jackets” and slim-cut jodhpurs imitated the famous “Saharienne” first made popular by Yves Saint Laurent.
Glam palm-tree and leafage prints for bikinis and skinny jeans, mixed with triple-ankle-strap high heels and Panama hats, narrow-tailored trouser suits in brilliant shades of purple, aquamarine and red satisfied the 50′ hippie.
Jewel-tone kaftans and djellaba-gowns, decorated at neck, cleavage or wrist with semi-precious stones, provided a louche, but sophisticated choice for after-dark.The colors are very appealing with its regal purples and of course perfect pool blues, improved not only by the clothing but with the makeup’s aqua eyes.
Blouses met utilitarian pants. Asymmetrical cuts supplied sex entreaty.
Colorful suiting confrontated sheer blouses. A safari-infused anorak was even given the Frida treatment: fun, sexy, and party-ready.
