Eastern culture has always attracted us with its luxurious charm and irresistible appeal. Brocade, velvet, silk, and atlas with rich embellishment and embroidery – sounds like something beautiful, doesn’t it? These things and even more were all borrowed from the Eastern civilizations. No wonder, if I lived in the medieval Europe with its overwhelming poverty, I would totally crave a nice outfit to stand out. Can you imagine what it feels like to look just like everyone else in that boring floor-length linen gown? Although the things are way different now and we no longer have to sail across the ocean to get some fashionable pieces (some super obsessed fashionistas still do it though), western designers look for inspiration in the oriental motifs anyway. An Italian brand, Blumarine just proved it with its Fall 2013 Campaign starring gorgeous Candice Swanepoel.
Blumarine Fall 2013 Campaign: Alluring Candice Swanepoel
The South African model, Swedish photographer, and Italian designer came together to create magnificent looks of a Blumarine woman. Candice’s sleek black hair and matte red lips create an image of femme fatale which I like a lot. True beauty will always look stunning regardless of the hair color or anything else. All the outfits amaze with the impeccable design and some edginess that make it impossible to look away without a joyous sigh.
An enticing red scarlet lace dress with a cutout back is extremely magnetic and seductive. Although it does not reveal that much of Candice’s voluptuous body, we still can’t help admiring her alluring curves. Red is a color of temptation and wearing a red dress is the best way to draw more attention to yourself. My mind is already working hard on all the consequences of donning such an outfit. Ladies around me eat their hearts out, not daring to clarify the place where I purchased this masterpiece. Good-looking men are about to twist their necks in an attempt to see every single detail of my gown. Well, my frock is not what they are so interested in after all.
A black leather skirt with an impressive split paired with a gorgeous floral printed chiffon blouse is my favorite outfit. Obviously, Blumarine offers a look that is meant to seduce all the male hotties around. I love those large flowers spread on the blouse that along with a black and white bow make the outfit super elegant. Sky-high pumps and a trendy minaudiere will complete the ensemble and add a glam chic to this sophisticated and saucy look.
One of the photos captured Candice leaning against the wall. Everything from her enchanting look and full red lips to black hairdo and the way she stands reminded me of Anjelina Jolie and her fabulous style. Just have a glance at that picture of the South-African beauty donning a marvelous black and white mini with florals – do you spot that astonishing resemblance?
Camilla Akrans, the photography genius, did a great job and managed to picture an ideal Blumarine woman. Beautiful, alluring, sophisticated, and romantic – this was Candice Swanepoel for Blumarine Fall 2013 campaign.
