Karl Lagerfeld is the designer who’s got enough creativity for making huge collections for every fashion season and for several brands. I wonder how many outfits a day he designs. For Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 Karl worked on 67 looks, 63 of those were womenswear.

The inspiration for Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 range Karl Lagerfeld took from Paris-Byzance theme, the Empress Theodora and the lost culture of Byzantium in particular.
The Chanel creative director explained:
Theodora was a circus artist who became empress, like Chanel, who was a little singer and became a fashion empress.”

The Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 collection abounds with coats of unusual shapes adorned with interesting buttons and brooches, dresses and suits with Byzantine prints and rich golden embroidery, and warm knitted cardigans and tunics.
Jewelry definitely made the Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 collection more interesting and glamorous. And the tight-fitting thigh-high boots added chic to the range.
