London Fog is the world-known U.S. rainwear label that has been producing waterproof garments for over 87 years. To promote their Fall 2010 collection they invited Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks who seems to be the embodiment of beauty and femininity. The choice of the model for the campaign can be explained by the fact the brand has embraced the retro image this seaon. And who can do retro better than Christina Hendricks?
Christina Hendricks follows in the footsteps of Gisele Bundchen who was the face of London Fog last year but she definitely pictured a different image.
On the photographs Christina Hendricks looks perfect – so stylish, pretty and luxurious. Behind-the-scenes pictures show how her make-up and the beehive-style up-do were created.
Talking about the London Fog label Christina Hendricks mentions that trench coat is an iconic piece that is good for both men and women.
She said: ‘
The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. It works for anyone – it worked in the 1960s and it works now.’
Commenting on the sexiest way to wear a trench coat Christina mentions that nothing under the coat is the best. Then she adds: ‘…but not if you want to walk out into the real world and not get arrested,’ she added.
