When people get older they understand they want to do a lot but less and less time is left. They start realizing their dreams when they are 70, 80, even 90, why not? And some ideas do have sense!
For instance, Dancing With the Stars and The Last Picture Show star, 83-year-old Cloris Leachman has made a clothing line, something she had been thinking of for a long time but had no time or opportunity to do.
The line was called Clorisline. It includes a selection of “vibrant florals” with a dash of “safari sophistication.”
The range is said to be an exciting line of mix and match outfits, designed to flatter a woman’s body. It is designed so well that woman of any shape will feel and look gorgeous wearing it. Moreover, the garments are so versatile that the same items accessorized differently will look appropriate for various occasions.
Cloris wasn’t alone creating the collection. She has collaborated with Veronique who is a friend of hers and a designer. The result is perfect and classy!
When I recently completed my autobiography I realized that everything I had written about took place in the past. What about the future, I asked myself, and right away the thought came bubbling up, start creating things I’ve always thought about but haven’t done. And up in front of me came a name, “Cloris Line.” Right, I thought, what’s the first thing? I know, we’ll create a clothing line …
This is what Cloris Leachman says about her line and the purpose for creating it:
My friend and superb designer, Veronique, feels, as I do, that women of a “certain age” (for instance mine) have difficulty finding things to wear that are affordable, appealing and have some little air, some touch of originality. What you wear is how you announce who you are and to me too many American women look like members of a penguin community. You’ll smile at the sense of panache you feel when you put on something from “Cloris Line” and that smile will widen into a grin when you remember it costs under $50. So stand tall, ladies, here are some views of what I firmly believe you’ll want to be wearing.”
What do you think about the line? I like it a lot. Looks wonderful!
