Dree Hemingway Vogue Nippon January 2010 Issue

This photo shoot has striken me with an idea that nothing can be really right in our world. We say classic style implies wearing suits, blouses, flesh-colored stocking and pumps, but who says it is right? It is just accepted by everyone but not truly right as we all want to express ourselves in different ways. I can’t wear bandana to office just because people will think I look inappropriate.

Dree Hemingway is featured in Vogue Nippon January 2010 issue wearing garments that seem to be incombined. But it’s the way the stylist see her. Why not? Thanks God, there are no strict rules for magazines on what exactly they should dress models in.

The photo shoot is named The Day She Saw the City. The American beauty looks messy but somehow stylish. Her outfits are heavily layered and eclectic and are inspired by both bohemian chic and tribal motives.
