Esprit has got itself a world’s highest paying model Gisele Bundchen, H&M’s former executives Jörgen Andersson and Jan Nord, a British fashion photographer David Sims, and a stylist Camille Bidault-Waddington to make an Iconic Styles campaign that would take the brand onto another level. Gisele Bundchen has been recently announced the face of the brand and now the campaign shots have been revealed in which Gisele wears effortless casual outfits.
Esprit is known for making casual clothes and Iconic Styles collection is not very different from what they did. The campaign demonstrates man-tailored coats, leather jackets, button shirts and pants. The pieces are versatile and can be put into a variety of outfits.
Gisele Bundchen wears, for example, brown cropped leather pants with a blue button shirt and a brown men-style coat while the outfit is completed with a pair of sports shoes. The same coat can be seen with another outfit of black turtleneck and a floral pattern black skirt. Menswear trend is a big part of Esprit Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection. Footwear, trousers and outerwear is simple, showing menswear features, fabrics and colors.
Esprit is also known for making denim clothes so there is jeans that can be worn with striped tank and a brown leather jacket. The collection also includes shorts that the stylist paired with the same brown jacket and a blue striped button shirt. Gisele looks natural and relaxed in the shots and the outfits look great on her. I got a thing for plaid shirts and men-tailored trousers. Great stuff.
