Time passes so quickly that we often don’t notice how seasons change each other. But if you are a woman of fashion you have to go step in step with seasons as the fashion industry does.

Trends for the fall 2009 and winter 2010 are not much different from what we had the previous time but still there are some new things to mention here.

Tuxedos. There are few of them in collections but what a stand out they make! And appearance of Rihanna wearing a Dolce&Gabbana tuxedo did a lot to cause envy and desire to own the item of this kind in one’s wardrobe. So, tuxedo is very hot for the season.

Sweater tunics. Women who prefer warm clothes to fashionable ones can feel relieved as designers have brought back a sweater tunic that is both a beautiful piece and a warm one.

Vests. You might be surprised but vests are trendy. No matter what material they are made of – fur, leather, satin – they look pretty and unusual.

White shirt – no patterns, sequins or other stuff. Depending on the fabric it can look royal or casual. Choose what you want and experiment with your style!

Peaked shoulders. They have been already adopted by many fashionistas, especially after Kate Moss donned one of Balmain dresses. So, it’s a super trend for Autumn 2009 and Winter 2010, Ladies!

Jeans are versatile and both young and old like wearing them. Jeans of this fashion season are skinny ones, those which show the perfection of every inch of your legs.

Leggings have entered the contemporary world of fashion very fast. Some experts tried to explain this by the influence of the economic downturn as leggings are cheaper than pants but look as beautiful.

Well, no matter what that was, leggings have become even more popular. Lots of designers have included those into their collections.

Some leggings are very warm, for the coldest days.

Others are more or less ordinary. And there are leggings which are very beautiful, printed, sequined or embellished with precious stones.

Printed tights are very close to leggings and are as popular. And they also come sequined and embellished with stones.

Pants. Styles of pants vary a lot in designers’ collections. Some couturiers offer us to wear usual classic styles, while others offer newer and fresher ideas.

For example, stovepipe pants will be on top as well as shorter trousers. Sometimes the two styles can be combined into one. For example, classic office pants cut shorter than they should be. Looks interesting and nice!

Shorts. Those who don’t want to push their favorite shorts back in the closet can feel happy as shorts for the coming cold seasons are a must. Shorts can come in various fabrics and styles, and of course you can choose what to pair them with to create the most unexpected look.
