Halloween Photoshoot with Nadja Auermann

Today is Halloween and here I am to congratulate you on the scariest day of the year! Let it be the funniest and most cheerful for you! We wish you to be the most extraordinary-looking girl at the party!

Halloween has always attracted attention of stylists and designers. And in 1995, more than 10 years ago, a mysterious and fashionable photoshoot was done just right for the holiday. I decided it would be interesting for you to look at it now, in 2009.

“In Memory Of The Late Mr. And Mrs. Comfort” with Nadja Auermann, a German model,  made quite a stir at the time. It doesn’t look the same way now but still is something worth seeing.

Richard Avedon was able to show Death and Beauty together, so harmonious and inseparable. They cannot be apart but it is hard for them to be together. It’s some kind of philosophy each person considers in his own way.

From fashion perspective this phoshoot is important for us with the garments the models are wearing. They come from the most respectable designers: Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Christian Lacroix, Comme des Garçons, Manolo Blanik, Maison Martin Margiela, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler and Versace.
