How to make your outfit brighter
I often see people wearing one-color clothes, and generally these colors are neutrals, like black, brown or grey.
At such moments the question arises in my mind: do they really like this color and the way it looks or they cannot combine and mix colors in their outfits?
I think both of my ideas are right. Of course there are people who prefer and love wearing total black or white, or any other color.
It may look gorgeous if all the items are chosen correctly. But what about those who prefer monotone garments to be able to create a more or less elegant look, to seem to have a good taste, to avoid looking too messy and kid-like?
They certainly need some advice!
Color is something that can change your whole image completely if it is added to your attire at least to some extent.
Even a tiny thing, a small accessory can do a lot. Wearing color can do amazing things for skin tone, hair color, and overall appearance. While basic black will forever be a wardrobe staple, adding in a few more shades can spice up your wardrobe and add interest to your look.
Here I will tell you how to make you look brighter and fresher but at the same time remain stylish and color-restrained.
Start small and work your way up
If color is something you don’t normally include into your wardrobe, don’t lose your head and purchase the first five bright pieces you see.
If you do this, you’ll most likely hate your look soon and kiss goodbye with any vivid hues for the rest of your life. Don’t be in a hurry and think twice. Start small with one colorful piece, a belt for example, and build from there.
Opt for colors which go well with your skin and hair
I am sure you know that all people have different skin tones. Depending on that we have to choose the right color for clothes.
Once you know what looks good on you, it becomes much easier to wear color without fear. But again: start small and incorporate one or two appropriate colors into your wardrobe. When you get used to them continue experimenting.
Wear bright shoes
Juicy Couture – Annette (Yellow Patent/Green/Gold Beads) – Footwear

Bright shoe is a zero-risk option to add color to your wardrobe. What is great about them is that they jazz up even the most boring outfit, and they always stand out in a crowd.
Betseyville – Lane (Pink) – Footwear

Try red shoes with a little black dress or hot pink heels paired with jeans and a top – you can’t go wrong.
Alexander McQueen – 216935 (Pink) – Footwear

Add a bright handbag.
Along with bright shoes bright bags can make your outfit more colorful and won’t look to obtrusive or vulgar. I understand that many women prefer black and brown handbags because of their versatility, but bright bags can also be a great choice.
Dooney and Bourke – Calf Luna (Grass) – Bags and Luggage

Just make sure the shade meshes well with the rest of your wardrobe. For instance, a cobalt blue purse would be perfect if you wear lots of cool colors like gray and lavender.
Jessica Simpson – Sugar – Hobo (Cherry Crinkle) – Bags and Luggage

Wear a colorful dress.
If you tend to hesitate when it comes to putting colors together, try a colorful dress and let it determine the color palette for you.
Calvin Klein – CD9J1V01 (Aqua) – Apparel

Match your frock with neutral shoes and a nice bag of a coordinating tint. While the dress will be the focus of your outfit, you won’t have to worry about mismatching.
Find colorful jewelry.
Aquamarine Bead Necklace

Colorful jewelry can be perfect for monotone outfits. Choose one colorful piece – perhaps a chunky turquoise bracelet or a bright cocktail ring, and wear it with a simple top/jeans combo or a little black dress to make a stand out.
Bright accessories.
Bright accessories are fantastic and they are cheap as well. You can experiment with them a lot to create the image you like the most. A bright red belt over a black dress would look adorable. Or you may want to have bright tights to enliven your look.
Ed Hardy – EH3202Belt (Purple) – Accessories

All of these will do a lot to make you look new and spring-like.
I hope these tips are not difficult to remember and use. Try, experiment and create your own style!
