The Hills star Lauren Conrad’s secret ardor has always been fashion design.
Her fashion design career is getting stronger and stronger and Lauren, 22, has been seriously considering leaving MTV hit reality show. She told press,
It’s coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I’m ready to kind of walk away. I’ve been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time.”
And on October 14 she looked perfect and assured at her Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week Spring 2009 show.
The Lauren Conrad fashion collection was awesome!
Inspired by spring, her romantic and frisky collection is great for anyone and can be worn to any event or daily.
The row targeted young women with an all soft feel to it. Sweet and simple as well as glam and sexy came out one by one.
Clothes varied and incorporeal dresses in maxi lengths, halter, bubble, strapless and natural waist fitting styles.
High-waisted shorts, skirts and leggings were matched with striking blouses that looked fab for a spring night.
Ruffles, layers, pleats, open back designs that were cut precise making a sexy look were perfectly tailored.
New fabrics were used to praise jersey and stretch sateen.
Conrad showed an marshal of solid jersey dresses, cocktail dresses, maxi. There was multitude beside those usual suspects.
Colors were springy and included shades of blue, cream, browns, deep pinks as well as neutral palettes.
There were large prints of roses that gave any outfit a fantasy look, and polka dots that made the dresses playful and fun.
We have to stay a little more safe because people are looking for classic shapes instead of fun, trendy pieces. People aren’t throwing their money around,” Conrad said
Accessories were also highlighted adding some Spring tendency and included black open peep toe shoes that are going to be hot for the upcoming season, belts that girthed the waists of dresses and skirts, black Mary Jane’s with ligneous heels, thing black flirty stilettos, as well as flat sandals that looked like a Greek Goddess would wear. A lot of catwalk models wore flowers headbands.
Lauren Conrad’s new collection has piqued the interest of some Hollywood celebrities, as best friend Lauren “Lo” Bosworth and Girls Next Door Holly Madison were both in the arrivals area before the show.
Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Jason Wahler and Kyle Howard were all in the front row, though it looks like Audrina Patridge didn’t make it. Whitney Port was in NYC shooting her new show.
Evidently Heidi made the first move to go congratulate Lauren on the show and Spencer had kind words for Lauren.

Ordinary fashion. I like some items, but nothing special.
I agree, there’s really nothing innovative about her designs. I’m not really a fan of her solid dresses, I mean it just looks like you wrapped a sheet around you.
i love the clothing of lauren. it’s just not so extravagant like many of the ones you see at the fashion shows. often you cannot even wear it, cos it’s just too special. but lauren’s line is just elegant and modern. i really really love it!
i love all dat clothes
YES I LIKE HER STYLE YOU CAN ACTUALLY WEAR THE CLOTHES. I WISH HER THE BEST!
That is a nice collection, all the clothes are very cutte!
I love Lauren !!! ur amazing and my idol.
I think her clothes are wonderful i would wear them. I think she has a great eye for what looks good.. Good job!!!
I love this line, its sharp and clean and what most women would wear today. I feel that more women are leaning simple elagance, rather than gaudy and trashy. 80s makeup and hair is gone and women are now going natural, Lauren has her finger on the pulse of the masses! I want one of every dress!Inocent sex appeal is what I see in this line and what guys does not want a woman like that.
Naw! Her dresses are way too simple (and UGLY). Yeah, you can wear them, but you can also wear a blanket or a bath towel…. I expected more from LC. She’s learned SO much about fashion, she should know better. You don’t need to be a fashionista in order to design such artless apparel. Not a hint of creativity or talent. However, I love her as a person, but STOP designing, please.
