Levi’s Fall 2009 and prison spirit in ad campaign

Levi’s Vintage collection for fall/winter 2009-2010 is inspired by American jailhouses during the 1920’s to 50’s.. What the strange assosiation of designers!

Prison styles are very simple – basic jeans, shirts, rolled up-hats, oversize coats in wool, boots.

The Inside/Out line shows the history, experiences, efforts of serving time. Black and white stripes, orange jumpsuits, and next denim was the preferred material for stand-offish life.

With the theme of Inside/Out for Autumn/Winter 2009-2010, Levi’s clear ups the feelingless, arduous life of the sentence.

Levi Strauss & Co. have transformed first usual workwear to most popular and comfortable outfit – blue jeans.
