LFW: PPQ Fall 2009

Fall is a season of multiple colors. And to remain noticeable among all this brightness you also need to be bright. The way to achieve that is offered to us by PPQ brand.

Their collection is full of vivid colors and lively tones: red, yellow, brown, gold, blue, green, orange and violet. Everything is about the color, color is everywhere, in each item.

When I saw a few first models walking at the catwalk I was surprised by the designers’ imagination. Tints are mixed in the most complicated and unusual manner.

Those that seemed incompatible are combined here and look wonderful!

So, what was presented to us by PPQ? Lots of things!

Coats, trousers, skirts, blouses, tunics, dresses, vests, berets, bright tights and extremely bright shoes on thick soles. Nothing was about classics, every item was extravagant and very fresh.

The line is interesting. It is for those who like to be in the center of attention.

Almost no accessories were shown, just a few belts and chains on the waists and several large bags. Stripes, tartans, patchwork – everything is mixed like in clown’s garments. Occasional fur trimming adds chic and glamour to the outfits.

Makeup focused on edgy eyes.

The thing that amazed me the most was the plait. Every model had one. And each girl had exceptionally bright make-up on her face. Bright, bright, bright… I always repeat this word as this is the first thing you notice when look at the clothes from PPQ.

It’s a good way to make our world brighter and happier!
