LFW: Sass&Bide Spring/Summer 2010

If I tried to find a more colorless collection I guess I wouldn’t succeed much, because Sass&Bide is the one.

No more colors than white, black, grey and gold were used to make the clothes.

But as the garments do look good it means a great talent worked on it. Having just a few hues and doing marvels with them is a complicated thing, no doubt.

The line Spring/Summer 2010 is partially inspired by a bondage style.

We see wonderful pieces with the use of that. They are interesting and very fresh-looking.

Besides, we see the influence of a Greek style here.

Long, floor-sweeping gowns made of light airy fabrics are gorgeous and feminine.

Ankle-length pants and shorts more similar to bloomers are in plenty, providing much comfort to the wearer.

Some are very simple but others are elaborately designed.

There are a number of mini-dresses in the range which are richly embellished with sequins, metallic and other sparkling details.

The collection is nice. I like the shapes of the garments very much.

Knee-high socks without soles look fantastic. And the shoes in Yves Saint Laurent style are beyond any comparison.
