Loading ...Surrounded by family and friends, Lindsay Lohan launched her new fashion collection 6126 at Henri Bendel in New York City on Monday evening (October 13).
LiLo, 22, happily posed for photographers, standing alongside guests including her little sister, Ali Lohan, and girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s sister, Charlotte.
The “Mean Girls” starlet had written about her new collection on her MySpace page earlier, telling,
I’m thrilled to announce that my new fashion collection, 6126 is finally ready for launch!!”
She said:
I love to wear leggings, so it should come as no surprise that my first venture into the world of fashion design is with leggings!” Talking about the meaning behind 6126, she noted, “I named the collection after Marilyn Monroe’s birth date, because to me she represents timeless, confident glam -¬ and that is the voice of this brand.”
Samantha Ronson Lindsay’s girlfriend was noticeably absent from her side last night amid reports the couple have hit a rocky patch in their relationship.
Henri Bendel and Lindsay celebrated the line Monday night at the New York store. A percentage of all 6126 sales from the evening will be given to Ovarian Cancer Research – a cause that Lindsay says is, “very close to my heart.”
