Outerwear trends Autumn 2009 – Winter 2009-2010

Share |

Cold seasons bring cold weather and necessity to wear warm clothes and comfortable outerwear.

And you always want to feel not only warm and comfortable but also stylish and showy.

This is very topical this autumn, when in spite of cold and gloomy days you still want to wear light dresses. The summer has gone and it’s time you turned your eyes to Fall/Winter 2009-2010 outerwear.

The autumn-winter coats, raincoats, jackets, overcoats, fur coats, parka and others have to be warm and water-proof.

As we know, fashion trends make a comeback every now and then and many of past seasons’ styles return in new variations. For F/W 09-10 fashion designers have presented various colors, shapes and styles.

There are so many amazing coat shapes to choose from.

Colour way, classic, camel color is the most polygonal.

Belted coats are the smart style.

For everyday wear choose a quilted cover-up, and for high-fashion there is a great blanket coat, as seen at Vivienne Westwood, Chloe and Marc Jacobs.

As we told you before one of the hottest trends for A/W 2009-2010 is strong shoulders.

The new focal point on a clearly delineated shoulder depicts the season’s biggest move in contour.

Structural units, such as jackets and coats, come with keen shoulder pads.

Knitted coats and jackets are very popular among presented collections but this season, knitwear is not as popular as in Autumn/Winter 2008-2009.

It looked great at Missoni, where knits were worn in multiple layers and long oversized statement scarves.

Shaggy jackets and knitted coats looked hot with skinny leather, trousers and boots.

If you love soft and warm clothes, I think outerwear by Missoni, Kenzo, Pringle of Scotland or Iceberg will be amazing for you.

Fur coats are very trendy every year. Many of designers launched astonishing fur jackets, coats and bolero.

Of course, if you’re against wearing the natural fur you can wear synthetic fur, that looks just like natural and is very soft.

Designers make their fur clothing in different colors: bright and neutral. If you want to stand out of the crowd – choose pink or yellow fur coats!

Leather is always as hit as fur. But leather is more practical as you can wear it on rainy days.

Fur detailing coats and jackets – fur cuffs and collars or both you can see in lines of many designers. It makes coats look more luxurious.

3/4, elbow long sleeves makes outerwear very interesting and original.

Long gloves are great accessories for 3/4, elbow long sleeves coat.

Wistful thoughts for the abundant and excessive 80s club mood has inspired many designers. And they add 80s styled outerwear in their runway collections.

Feeling like a retro girl? 40s style outerwear makes for you very feminine and graceful, emphasizing your body shape and making it look sophisticated.

Short jackets show your rocking feels! They can be are made of leather, fur, knitted or light material.

Good variant is to wear with jeans, pants and the most trendiest boots over the knee.

Bright colors! Love them???

Be perfect in pink, yellow and other bright colors coats and jackets!

Camel colored coats and beige makes figure classier and sexier.

Also trench coats are in style again! It’s classy variant for daily wear and office wear

The fall is being at its height while most men don’t seem to be changing their summer clothing habits. It’s not been real foul outside yet so we are still keeping our tees, summer slacks and sandals in use. The weather forecasts for the nearest future though promise some rains and temperature drop. So it must be the right time to think of some fresh things to add to your wardrobe.
