Karl Lagerfeld surpassed himself when he prepared and then launched the Spring-summer 2010 collection as a part of Paris Fashion Week.
The playful show at the Grand Palais will hardly be forgotten soon with all that hay and flirt things the spectators had an opportunity to see and feel.

A huge fashion barn was made for the show and the models stepped out from it with wheat ears in the hair, straw in their clothes and delighted faces as if something really special was happening inside (I guess you know what I’m talking about! Lol…).

The clothes the girls were wearing looked simple but very nice. Some were created from ordinary cotton but others seemed to be made of chic materials.
As the entire show had a bit of country feel the garments were partially country-inspired: aprons, dirndls, mylticolored sun-frocks, peasant-y poppy prints, etc.

However, Chanel can never be simple and of course, there were plenty of luxury outfits: dresses, skirt suits, blouses, patterned tights and of course shoes, which were absolutely fantastic.
Mostly these were comfortable clogs with schunky heels, occasionally decorated with flowers or nice patterns. Classic shoes were also present, coming in a diversity of colors.

Accessories were feminine and attratcive. The variery of handbags wasn’t limited to signature chain-handle pretty pieces but went much farther and included perfect woven items, tiny sophisticated clutches and other richly decorated things.
