There are ad campaigns that attract your attention by something spectacular and there are those which provoke negative feelings. However, there is one more group of adverts. These just pass by, without leaving any traces in both your memory and that part of the brain that is responsible for shopping obsession. Sisley Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 ad campaign belongs, unfortunately, to the latter group.
Sisley Fall 2010 ad campaign is plain and boring. Nothing about it makes me think about pieces this brand promotes.
Model Ashley Smith who graces Sisley Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 campaign is a pretty girl but she doesn’t look that pretty here. She must have been photographed badly.
The picture of her sitting on a bike and demonstrating everybody her full chest looks tacky. The same attitude I have to another advert where Ashley Smith is lying on a bike dressed in a super short denim skirt, sheer top and leather jacket.
Two more pictures from Sisley Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 ad campaign look ridiculous. At one Ashley has fallen out of a washing machine and another features the girl lying on the floor of the suermarket surrounded by cucumbers. What the idea was behind the shoot I wonder.
