Steve Madden launches womenswear collection

Steve Madden, a footwear and accessories retailer, will launch women’s ready-to-wear clothes collection with a bohemian flair, which will be licensed and marketed by L’Koral Industries.

Mr. Madden said:

I’m very excited about creating trend-right ready-to-wear for the Steve Madden customer”

Steve Madden created an ephemeral dress collection three years ago, but this colloboration will be the first time for the company to work on a licensing partner.

L’Koral is known for its lucky licensing brands such as 7 For All Mankind Denim and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s Elizabeth and James collection.

The new collection will hit the market in Spring 2010 and will consist of stylish dresses and jackets. All items will be decorated with zippers and other hardware details.
