Sophistication and elegance have always been distinguishing characteristics of Valentino collections.
Opulent dresses, chic suits, beautiful shoes and bags, exquisite jewelry – these all are about Valentino.

This Fall 2009 the fashion label has a new design team, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, who wish to diversify the usual range of pieces. And now they have come with their debut line that is a bit not Valentino but looks very interesting.

The designing pair prepared numerous fabulous gowns bursting with saturated hues including acid yellow, emerald green, turquoise, wine red, and black. Designs for Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 are new and attractive with interesting cuts, folds and pleats.
Some items are embellished with beads, others featured high slits, and several pieces included a pretty nature-inspired print.

Beside the gowns, the creative duo constructed various long capes and coats with fox fur hems and cuffs, together with some exceptional mink vests and coats.
Several chic monochromatic outfits, including some well-tailored trousers, A-line skirts, and jeweled cardigans are also presented in the collection.

Though the collection is a little different from the general Valentino style clothes designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli are purely feminine and sensual, the way they have always been created by the brand.
