Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Ad

I don’t like Vivienne Westwood, but her designs are unique and often unexpected as well as her ad campaigns, and this is what I value much in her.

The new Fall/Winter 2009/2010 ad campaign is extraordinary again, though one thing has been quite predictable – the participation of Pamela Anderson. This is the second season already that the Playboy covergirl has graced the campaign.

The Gold Label campaign features Pamela alongside the grande dame of punk, together with Westwood’s husband, Andreas Kronthaler. The photo shoot is playful with all the three frolicing and grimacing.

At one of the pictures Andreas is dragging Pamela along the ground by a swathe of satin. His wife’s standing watching what’s happening with obvious disapproval. The trio are wearing tartan and stripes, so much loved by the designer.
