Autumn with its rains and chilly winds is already here and we strive to look nice and trendy despite all those weather conditions.

It is not easy but if we mix and experiment a lot we’ll certainly succeed.

Leather items

Leather items are the trendiest things and the favourites of this season but they are those which have to compile every woman’s wardrobe as well as clothes made of denim.

Nowadays leather is produced to be light, thin and plastic, it can be dyed any colour, ornamented with any décor.

Therewith, it doesn’t absorb moisture and is used by designers for creating various clothing – from erotic corsets to coats. Leather jackets, coats, belts can be a perfect choice for fall.

Parka

This kind of garment, originally made from caribou or seal was invented by the people of the Arctic region, who needed clothing that would protect them from severe frosts and wet while hunting. In recent years it has been modified and now it is an integral part of a modern woman’s wardrobe.

There are various types of parkas: sporty, casual or classical, that is possible to be worn to the theatre or for a walk with friends.

As a rule, parka has a hood and a zipper. It is usually made of cotton or silk. And when it is rolled it can go into a handbag. So, dear ladies, you should own a parka!

Now some tips on how to wear it.

A dress should be shorter than the parka.
A dress and a parka must be of a similar texture and colour. Or you can choose a bright dress for a cotton parka.
If you want to have a focus on you figure you better wear a belt. It might be either wide with a huge buckle or very narrow wrapped around your waist a few times and tied with a usual knot. The belt must be contrasting. Wear bracelets to beautify yourself. Roll the parka’s sleeves up and put on massive bracelets on your wrists.
When visiting a friend or a theatre wear a nice scarf or even a boa!

Raincoats or Trench coats

Raincoat as a name offers a wear to be worn during rainy season and is available in various materials out of which plastic is in maximum use.

This fall 2008 trench coats are popular as never before. The trench for this fall comes in a variety of styles, fabrics and colors.

Rather than choosing just one for the fall and autumn/winter, you may want to choose a variety of inexpensive trench coats for various happenings.

Transparent raincoats

You may want your garments to be seen, in this case parka is not the best choice. The alternative is a transparent raincoat.

Plastic raincoats of various sizes and colors and at a wide range of prices can be easily seen in the market during rainy season.

Plastic raincoats are much in demand as opposed to other materials for raincoats because it is very opportune to use as well as easy to bring and gives a warm feeling from within without sticking the body.

Plastic raincoats can be transparent as well as non-transparent. Transparent raincoats are supposed to be a part of fashion statement and can be seen many at times on slope worn by the catwalk models for showing monsoon line, however, non-transparent plastic raincoats are more in use.

Footwear

Footwear has to be waterproof. You may choose high-heeled or platform shoes. The best option is shoes with wooden soles or high boots with lacing or Velcro fasteners.

Sometimes wearing your ordinary footwear may not be possible. But there is always an alternative – rubber boots! If you think that rubber boots can be worn only in the woods or on a farm you’re mistaken. You can wear them in a megalopolis but the weather must be RAINY!

When choosing rubber boots you should keep in mind the following rules:

Rubber boots have to be monotone if your outfit is multicoloured. But if your garments are of restrained tint you have to add some brightness and give vent to your imagination!
Choose knee-length socks or gaiters to emerge from your boots. If you’re lucky to buy boots with elastic band on the top of your boots it will be fantastic!
Don’t combine rubber boots with a parka or a raincoat – you’ll look too farfetched in a city atmosphere! Rubber boots could go with a cloak, leather jacket or if it is not very cold you can wear them with a dress and an elegant umbrella!
To make a great impression wear your rubber boots with a smile on your face. Your step should be even lighter and more feminine than when you wear usual footwear. And remember that rubber boots can be high-heeled either!

Umbrellas

Umbrella alone can make you look trendy. The main thing to keep in mind is wearing it in a right way!
Umbrella walking stick is classic. It can change your image, make you look like a business lady.
