Teen Choice Awards 2011 has seen many summer trends on its blue carpet. Maxi, full skirts, leopard print, lots and lots and lots of white dresses, and lots of bright colors. And even though color block trend has been all over fashion blogs it didn’t quite make it to the Teen Choice Awards 2011 as celebrities mostly have gone with one bright color and bold accessories. So let’s see what they wore and who made it to our best-dressed list.
Blake Lively
Blake looks lively, sorry for the pun but it just says it all. Her bright orange leather Gucci dress from Gucci Resort 2012 looks great on her enhancing her hair and skin tone. You have to give Blake Lively credit for stepping out in a leather dress during summer heat as well and she looks fab. Accessories are kept at minimum with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry while the shoes are quite bold being featured in animal print.
Troian Bellisario
Another celeb on our best dressed list is Troian Bellisario of Pretty Little Liars in maxi Maria Lucia Hohan dress in taupe with black criss-cross bands on the bodice. The modern twist to the outfit – sheer skirt. Minimum accessories and all attention on the dress.
Taylor Swift
One of the celebs who opted for a white dress was Taylor Swift. Halter neck, full skirt and a bejeweled belt make this Rafael Cennamo dress while a tussled ponytail and a waved fringe give it all an ‘effortless chic’ touch. Swift has opted for metallic open toe Fendi heels with a bow and earrings for an accessory. The singer has beaten everyone in the awards and even had a Marylin Monroe moment with her dress.
Kaley Cuoco
Kaley Cuoco looks fab in Rebeca Taylor layered maxi dress. It’s so full of glamor and retro feel. Cuoco kept accessories at minimum and has added a splash of color to her lips keeping her hair waved in summery style.
Maggie Q
Another one from our best dressed list is an actress Maggie Q who has also chosen to be a white swan in MaxMara midi dress with open back. She has also chosen two toned Aperlai heels and Lena Erziak ‘Damien’ clutch to go with her look. Minimalism at its best.
