Roberto Cavalli tapped Sui He, Isabeli Fontana, and Malgosia Bela for Spring 2013 campaign lensed by Mario Testino. The three beauties sport the outfits from the feminine Spring 2013 collection. The brand chose to show the animal printed silk suits and flowing dresses from the line as well as white cutout numbers and statement jewelry.
Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2013 collection is airy and feminine featuring lots of white pieces among the designer’s signature animal prints and floral motifs. Besides he used lace and sheer fabrics to create wispy outfits. The cutouts that’ve been quite trendy lately and the laser cut patterns also give the pieces a wispy look.
The first part of the collection consists of white outfits that include laser cut blouses, dresses, and pants. The printed pieces combine together florals and leopard or snakeskin prints as well as lace and sheer panels. There are printed dresses with V-shaped necks and side slits, lace panels and cutouts.
The evening dresses are give a bit of sparkle with the sequins and beads. The delicate fabrics are shaped in streamline silhouettes with the thin straps and small cutouts.
The collection also includes some statement blazers designed in croc leather or featuring embellished shoulders and sleeves, long slim lapels and pointed padded shoulders.
Some other separates also include fringed trousers paired with dresses and skirts, an echo from this season’s skirt over pants trend, which makes for an interesting combination.
The footwear ranges from strapy sandals to bright snakeskin stilettos. The ankle strap, a big trend of the season, features a metal detail and all footwear features a pointed thin platform.
Multiple buckles and straps in the footwear make for edgier look that contrasts with the wispy lace clothes.
Other accessories include statement jewelry shaped as animals, croc leather chain handle bags, small hard case clutches, and round sunglasses.
