Anne Hathaway is the covergirl of Harper’s Bazaar August 2011 issue. The One Day actress looks very fresh and beautiful on the front page wearing a red dress decorated with frills and flowers.
On a couple of other images from Harper’s Bazaar August 2011 edition released by now Anne appears fully dressed-up. She poses in a wonderful ruffled ballgown standing on the first step of a famous English double-decker bus. Another photo features the Hollywood star leaning against another London icon – a telephone box – in a knitted sweater, stylish mini skirt and a pair of Prada reptile-leather boots.
In the interview for Harper’s Bazaar August 2011 Anne Hathaway reveals about her relationship with Adam Shulman, reaction to critics concerning her Oscars hosting and a few other interesting things.
Anne Hathaway on her boyfriend, Adam Shulman: “So far, it’s worked out great. [Getting caught up in the intensity of a romance] has its wonderful side, of course, but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.”
Anne Hathaway on how their affair started: “He thought that I had a boyfriend and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I’d better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl.”
Anne Hathaway on fashion: “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes. [Off the red carpet,] I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it.”
Anne Hathaway on her hosting at the Oscars: “In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”
Anne Hathaway on James Franco’s comments about her to David Letterman: “How did I take it? I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil.
