Diane Kruger Made Boys Pay for Her Father’s Behavior (Glamour March 2011)

Diane Kruger seems to be hard to deals with, especially for boys who like her. The actress told in the interview for Glamour Magazine March 2011 issue that her father’s alcoholism has affected her relationships strongly. At the age of 13 the girls had to leave the family home together with her mother and brother.

Diane said:

I also made a lot of boys pay for my father’s behavior.”

Besides, Diane Kruger has told Glamour she doesn’t believe in marriages as no paper can make you stay with a person you don’t feel to be close to you.

She said:

Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don’t believe in marriage. I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There’s no paper that will make you stay.”

Talking with Glamour Magazine about her attitude to fashion Diane said:

I truly, genuinely like clothes. Making them is an art form, and wearing them is a form of self-expression. I find it very emotional because I can remember moments in my life – my mood, how I felt – through these clothes.”

There is an item in Diane Kruger’s wardrobe that she had been dreaming about all her life:

The biggest fashion purchase I ever made I thought about for six years. I’m not kidding. All my life I wanted to own an Hermès Constance bag, and when I signed with Calvin Klein, I decided this was the time that I could afford it. I truly broke a sweat when I paid for it.”
