Emma Stone, who seems to be quite confident in public now, hasn’t always been like that. The Amazing Spider-Man star, who covers the August 2012 issue of Vogue UK, says she even had a panic attack at the age of eight and struggled a lot to recover.

Emma Stone told Vogue UK August 2012 issue:
I had a panic attack when I was eight. My mum couldn’t put notes in my lunch because I would be reminded that she existed and I would want to go home. And I was sick all the time. When I went through therapy, I tried improv for the first time, and I think there was some cathartic element to it.”

Emma Stone, who is dating her co-star Andrew Garfield, has recently moved into an apartment in New York with him. But as a person who values her privacy a lot Emma feels ‘physically ill’ from the idea she might not be able to walk around in the city without being followed by fans and paparazzi.

Emma said in the interview for Vogue UK August 2012 issue:
I worry about my fame making New York unliveable. To not walk around would be awful . . . that idea makes me physically ill.”

The August 2012 issue of Vogue UK with Emma Stone on the cover will hit newsstands today.
