It is a great priviledge to pose for such magazine as Vogue US. But I don’t think it is very pleasant to be asked to grace the cover of their annual Age issue. Somehow it means that you are getting old and people want to know how it feels… However, Gwyneth Paltrow takes this chance to talk about herself and promote her cookbook that is to come out next spring.

Gwyneth Paltrow looks pretty in a blue Burberry Prorsum dress on the cover of Vogue US August 2010 issue. Other photos feature Gwyneth wearing beautiful clothes which look a bit out of place in the kitchen, even such kitchen as this.
Shot by Mario Testino in her downtown Manhattan apartment Gwyneth Paltrow demonstrates us her skills of cooking. She also talks about her book and father who cultivated in her the love to this activity.

Gwyneth says in the interview for Vogue US August 2010 issue:
I always feel closest to my father when I am in the kitchen. This book is meant to channel the ethos of my father by sharing the greatest gifts that he imparted to me. Invest in what’s real. Drink while you cook. Make it fun. Health food was never really on the agenda. It was about fun and deliciousness and togetherness.”
Speaking about her age Gwyneth Paltrow reveals:
In my thirties, I feel like I really know who I am. I’ve made huge mistakes, I’ve learned from them…I feel much more comfortable in my skin now at this age than I did in my twenties.”
