Miranda Kerr Vs Scarlett Johansson: Two Campaigns

Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr for Swarovski

Ad campaigns are being released almost every day. Some of them do not impress at all, whereas others astonish and hypnotise as if they were alive. Mostly, the success of the campaign is based on the charm and talent of the starring model. Whenever it is someone who knows how to deliver a certain message, we get a set of incredibly gorgeous photos. Of course, it is also due to the photographer and the quality and appeal of the presented items, that we happen to like some of the ads. But in this case, it is just the enchanting beauty of the ladies that draws all attention in the world. Check out the two campaigns featuring Miranda Kerr and Scarlett Johansson each to see which one you like the most.

Miranda Kerr for Swarovski and  Scarlett Johansson for Dolce & Gabbana

The campaigns are very impressive. Which is exactly why I decided to share both of them with you. Unable to make my mind on the best one, I was hoping you could help me with that. I am pretty sure though that you will struggle with the choice as well, for it is impossible to stay indifferent.

Miranda Kerr, the face and the top model of Swarovski jewelry brand, looks drop dead gorgeous on the shot. Nick Knight lensed the model against a floral background, which added a romantic and delicate zest to the image. I love her outfit – both elegant and seductive that is so much “Miranda Kerr”. The British photographer was assisted by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse of House and Holme.

The Australian beauty shows off a striking set of jewelry pieces from the brand’s latest collection. Adorable earrings with a spiral touch are paired with a sophisticated necklace featuring a tiny pendant, a multiple-layered bracelet and a matching ring. Miranda’s make-up as well as hairstyle is very moderate. No wonder, it is the accessories that we are supposed to stare at.

Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson for Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana Beauty taps Scarlett Johansson for the latest  campaign. This time the actress advertises a new fragrance called The One. I bet she wasn’t chosen to be a face of the ad accidentally. She is the one - a beautiful, charismatic and talented woman. Peter Lindbergh shot the blonde posing on the streets of Los Angeles. For some of the shots, actor Matthew McConaughey joins her, just to stress the femininity of Johansson.

Dolce & Gabbana ad is in black and white, which looks very appealing. There is something about this photography style that keeps me going back and looking at the samples again and again. And I surely couldn’t get untouched by the energy and strong emotional meaning, which was preseneted by Scarlett.

For the photoshoot, the star wears an exqusite lace dress with long sleeves. Her hair is done in regret to old Holywood movies, which fits her a lot. The only detail to accessorize her look is a pair of small earrings. She looks very relaxed and delighted – the image that is able to make ladies all over the world fall for the fragrance piece.

These were the two campaigns that hit my perception tonight. As I mentioned before, I love both of them. What do you think of the ads? Share with us the one that speaks to you the most.
