Maybe my views are old-fashioned or even silly sometimes but I really like stories when a guy saves a girl and then they fall in love. It is really romantic. This explains why I enjoyed reading Reese Witherspoon’s interview for Elle Magazine February 2012 issue so much. The actress told Elle readers about how her husband, Jim Toth, saved her from his drunken friend who acted wildly on a night out.
The Water For Elephants star said:
This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. ‘He was like (slurring), “You don’t know me.” And I was like, “Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!” ‘Jim came over and said, “Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.” And I remember thinking, his friend is such an a**, what a jerk. And that Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation.”
This encounter led to a romance and then a marriage which took place in March 2011 at Reese Witherspoon’s lavish ranch in Ojai, California. It was the actress’ second marriage. Reese used to be a Ryan Phillippe’s wife who she had two children with.
Reese Witherspoon, who looks incredibly attractive on the pictures inside Elle February 2012 issue, told her split from Phillippe was ‘awful’ and that it changed her a lot.
She said:
I have to be honest with you, I’m a totally different person. ‘I don’t think I realized how little I was living. I was so consumed with trying to hold things together.”
Reese Witherspoon also said she felt much more confident and sexier about her body after she had had kids:
I do have to say, I like my body so much better after I had kids. Is that a crazy thing to say? I’m more womanly. I feel sexier. I’m more comfortable with my sexuality as I get older. When I was younger, I didn’t know why men were starting to look at me. Now I know why men are looking — and I’m cool with it.”
She also mentioned in the interview for Elle Magazine February 2012 that her life was no different than life of anybody else:
… I’m sick of whatever tabloid stuff or this or that story tries to portray. My life is just as realistic as everybody else’s. Whoever thinks someone has a perfect life, I’m so eager to dispel that. I don’t want to perpetuate any more romantic fantasy. I don’t want it to come across about how effusive or happy or lucky I am, but I want it to be honest with people. I can’t be a liar-pants. I wish I could! But I’m just not a liar, man!”
Well, if you want my opinion, I believe Reese Witherspoon. She is the woman who seems very sincere. When she is happy we know it. When she feels sad we also know it despite the fact she is an actress. I think she doesn’t act in real life and always stays herself. I wish her all the best in private life and success in her career.
