Who has no desire to have a bite on a delicious fruit of fame? People easily take risks and accept some questionable offers just for the sake of being famous. Not always do they achieve their goal. Mere will to gain popularity, no matter how strong it is, is not enough. In order to succeed, you have to fully devote yourself to what you are doing. In other words, hard work pays off. No doubt, these phenomenal ladies are familiar with this statement. They have reached the very top of their careers and have no intention to stop there. Let me introduce you these gorgeous women, who delight our eyes as we, their loyal fans from all over the world, look through the Vogue editions of our respective homelands.
Vogue July 2013 Covers: Choose Your Best One
Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr poses in Proenza Schouler white jacket and gray underwear. Her wet tresses and absence of any other clothing pieces fill Vogue Korea’s July 2013 cover with strong sensuality and playful carelessness. The Australian model was shot by Eric Guillemain. I bet Miranda will hide this magazine from her two-year old son. Poor Flynn will be so disappointed, if he sees his lovely Mommy in such an oufit.
A very similar look was chosen for Vogue Spain. Daria Werbowy wears a burgundy biker jacket and swimwear bottoms. The background is different though. Edition’s fashion director Belen Antolin and phtotographer Patrick Demarchelier opted for St. Barts beach as a setting. Seems like the Canadian top model of a Polish origin was about to comb her hair, which Mr. Demarchelier did not let her do. So here she is, posing for him with a bit wry face.
Katy Perry in an off-the-shoulder floral dress looks very romantic on the cover of Vogue US. Annie Leibovitz photographed the famous American singer against the natural background. She has covered a number of magazines over her career, but this is her first Vogue cover. A good reason to celebrate it with a fabulous party that can serve as inspiration for her next song.
For Vogue Japan’s July 2013 cover story, Bette Franke is trying on an image of a sporty girl. Giampaolo Sgura lensed the fashion model holding a black hula hoop and lifting her right leg as if she was ready to start the race. This is not her first contact with Japanese hieroglyphs. In November 2007 Bette graced the cover of Japanese Numéro.
Feline friend of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld stars in Vogue Germany’s cover photoshoot. A cute kitten Choupette is super lucky to be hugged by stunning Linda Evangelista. The German fashion maestro lensed the duo and even left his signature on the cover page. It is hard to say who the real star of the cover story is – a four-legged creature, that seems to be enjoying its grandioise debut or the Canadian model, who has been featured on over 600 magazine covers.
The French actress and model of Ukrainian origin Olga Kurylenko lands her homecountry’s Vogue cover. Phil Poynter shot the beauty in an elegant black silk dress with pink ornaments. Looks like the Bond girl is very pleased with her achievements. The expression on her face is far from greeting her Ukrainian friends.
Magdalena Frackowiak tempts Vogue Portugal’s readers both with her alluring body, slightly covered with a colorful bikini, and a beautiful seascape on the background. A credit for the cover also goes to Giampaolo Sgura, who photographed the Polish fashion model.
Another Polish beauty Anja Rubik is featured on Vogue Russia’s cover. Anja shows off her pretty shoulder in a shot by Richard Bush. I adore the way her cute curls and a heavy make-up complement each other.
Seems like there is some kind of demographic explosion in the Polish fashion industry. It might happen that by the next century, people will automatically rank all pretty young Polish girls as fashion models. Zuzanna Bijoch poses in a colorful dress paired with glamorous jewelry for Marcin Tyszka to grace the July cover of Vogue Mexico.
