2010 CFDA Fashion Awards have been written lots about recently. It was predicted that Marc Jacobs would get the prize and Alexander Wang would have some honour as well. And as it turns out all the rumours were true.
The ceremony was held at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday (June 7). Everything was just fantastic: the light, the music and the stars arriving one by one to the event. And then it all began.
The winners heard their names and walked to the stage to get their award. Some were happy and smiling, others seemed to be surprised and a bit embarassed.
Marc Jacobs was named the Womenswear Designer of the Year while Marcus Wainwright and David Neville for Rag & Bone got the prize as Menswear Designers of the Year.
Alexander Wang got the Swarovski Award for Accessories and his colleage Jason Wu received the Swarovski Award for Womenswear. Swarovski Award for Menswear was given to Richard Chai.
Alexis Bittar was honored as Accessory Designer of the Year. And the last but one of the most prestigious, Popular Vote Award, was presented to Ralph Lauren.
Despite the fact all the statues were given to men, plenty of famous ladies attended the ceremony of 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards. Majority of these you can see here. I will not comment on their outfits and give you the chance to express your opinions!

I absolutely love the last picture, to me Devon was 100% the best dressed, she looked glamorous and elegant but not over the top like so many other women in previous pictures. Plus she looks gorgeous and it only helps to be posing besides Zac. Others I thought were best dressed were SJP and Jessica Biel, Dakota Fanning, Hana Soukupova, Carmen Kass, Kate Mara and of course Vera Wang. The rest could have been better in some ways.
Just finished watching Shooter…awesome movie…and Kate Mara is gorgeous…27 and 19…that’s acceptable right??
