If we compare red carpet choices at 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards and 2010 American Music Awards we will see that celebrities tried much harder to look impressive at the latter event that was held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 21) in Los Angeles. Now everyone from Miley Cyrus to Jessica Alba did their best to grab attention on the red carpet. And some did succeed in their intentions.
Taylor Swift amazed me more than others. The 20-year-old who received the award for Favorite Female Artist (Country) looked almost unrecognizable with her new hairdo. The bang made her look younger and cuter. The country music star wore Collette Dinnigan dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Rihanna brought the new change into her look. If a couple of days ago her hair was scarlet red now it’s burgundy and she went frizzy for 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards evening. The Te Amo singer appeared on the red carpet in burgundy Elie Saab Haute Couture dress to match her hair and Christian Louboutin shoes.
Katy Perry returned to her glamorous side and donned a pretty floral Badgley Mischka Couture dress. To finish her look she chose Brian Atwood heels, a Brumani bracelet, and Pink Tourmaline and Pave earrings by VRAM for GRAY.
The girl who rocked classic at 2010 American Music Awards was Jessica Alba. The actress looked stunning in a black Cushnie et Ochs dress, Aandra Neen jewels, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Aandra Neen bag.
Avril Lavigne’s pink locks looked beautiful as did her Dolce & Gabbana dress, Lori Rodkin ring, numerous Gwyneth B bracelets and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
Of course I cannot miss Miley Cyrus who finally chose the dress that didn’t make her look older. The 17-year-old wore a feminine Marchesa creation to 2010 American Music Awards that she paired with Christian Louboutin shoes, and Neil Lane jewelry. Miley’s train was oh so long…
Kelly Osbourne also attended 2010 American Music Awards. She looked gorgeous in a black strapless lace-trimmed Calvin Klein dress. She again talked a lot about her new figure. And I guess I’m not alone in the group who’s getting tired of this gradually, aren’t I?
Heidi Klum followed the recent trend of wearing lace and opted for a chic sheer black lacy dress. I loved the fact she wore underwear beneath (unlike Leighton Meester!!!).
