This event had been anticipated for long. And when it finally took place on Wednesday (May 12) stars donned the most stunning outfits to shine on the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Eva Longoria showed off in a while silk Pucci chiffon ball gown that had a long and glamorous train. the dress looked perfect but it definitely made Eva look smaller than she really is.
Salma Hayek went for a brighter look and arrived at the event wearing the very first couture gown from Gucci Première collection, a floor-sweeping Bordeaux silk georgette assymetrical gown.
Aishwarya Rai looked like a princess in at the premiere in her violet blue fully embroidered tulle and mousseline gown created by Elie Saab.
I liked two more dresses. They were worn by Oscar winning actress Dame Helen Mirren – a classic black dress – and an Australian singer-and-actress Natalie Imbruglia, who donned Alberta Ferretti gown.
