Only four Gossip Girl stars attended the 2011 MTV Movie Awards held at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday on June 5. These were: Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr and Katie Cassidy. All girls looked their best trying to attract as much attention as it was possible.
Blake Lively, who looked mesmerizing in a blue Michael Kors dress, was among presenters at the ceremony. She shared the stage with her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds. Blake and Ryan presented the award for Best Kiss to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’s Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
Leighton Meester arrived at 2011 MTV Movie Awards in a sparkling Balmain dress, Pierre Hardy shoes, and Bulgari jewels. She also carried a Paco Rabane bag in her hands. Leighton had been nominated for Best Villain for her role in The Roommate but lost to Tom Felton from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Katie Cassidy was neither presenter nor nominee at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, but she didn’t lose her chance to walk the red carpet together with other actors. Katie wore a lovely Catherine Malandrino dress and Jimmy Choo heels.
Jessica Szohr, who was nominated for the Best Scared-as-S**t performance for her work in Piranha 3D, didn’t impress with her fashion choice at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. She opted for a strange-looking Stacey Bendet jumpsuit.
