It was designers’ evening, but it was models that were shining on the purple carpet. Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Karolina Kurkova, Eniko Mihalik, Miranda Kerr and other beauties attended the 2011 CFDA Awards to support their favorite designers (2011 CFDA AWARDS WINNERS’ LIST).
Alessandra Ambrosio arrived at the ceremony held at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City wearing an impressive red Prabal Gurung gown. She expressed her joy with the fact the designer had won the Best New Designer Of The Year award by twitting:
Omg @prabalgurung just won best new designer of the year!!! I feel so lucky to be chosen to wear his amazing dress!!! Love him!!”
Chanel Iman looked fantastic in her turquoise dress.
Karolina Kurkova probably decided it was too boring to wear a classy dress to the 2011 CFDA Awards. So, she opted for a glittering emerald-green hooded gown. She accessorized her look with Atelier Swarovski by Hariri and Hariri ring and Atelier Swarovski by Rodrigo Otazu cuffs and collar necklace.
Miranda Kerr opted for a chic Michael Kors floor length skirt and a matching cashmere black strap bodysuit.
Eniko Mihalik opted for a black look, too. She appeared at the 2011 CFDA Awards in a simple black halter gown.
Karlie Kloss was accompanied at the ceremony by Jason Wu who had also designed her sexy dress.
Doutzen Kroes opted for an asymmetrical red gown which she teamed up with a pair of lace Louboutin ankle boots.
Hana Soukupova was traditional in the choice of her attire for the 2011 CFDA Awards. She wore a luxurious Marchesa dress.
