Can you stand it when people drop bits and pieces of pop corn and spill their soda on you? I bet you don’t. But if you are planning to watch The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, be ready for all that plus uncontrollable laughter. This movie is so hilarious, that there is no way to chew up your food before you giggle it all out. You will roar and hotter and share your drinks with your neighbors’ lap. So will they, but who cares? Everyone in the movie hall will be enjoying a superb comedy! The movie is to be released on June 26. For now, check out the red carpet fashion of The Heat New York Premiere!
The Heat New York Premiere Red Carpet
Ziegfeld Theatre in New York welcomed movie stars and other guests at The Heat premiere on June 23. The premiere and after party were sponsored by C. Wonder, fashion retailer founded by J. Christopher Burch.
Sandra Bullock definitely attends a gym or even two and rarely eats at McDonald’s. The 48-year old actress (can you believe it?) showed off her perfect body in a black leather laser cut dress by Ermanno Scervino, paired with gorgeous Bottega Veneta shoes. Melissa McCarthy looks lovely in her navy blue pantsuit.
This time the red carpet was not impressed a lot. Female guests generously decided not take anyone’s breath away and saved their beautiful oufits for better times. Zosia Mamet seemed to steal her dad’s T-shirt and made an attempt to beautify the look with bracelets and rings.
Jessica Chaffin must have spent a whole day trying to find a dress and shoes that would perfectly match each other. Poor her, does she still think we have to do that?
Kate Flannery opted for a black dress with sheer panels on the neckline and skirt, which is fine. But, boy, if it wasn’t for the yellow stripes on her flesh-colored pumps, I would think she had showed up barefoot.
Had Lisset Gutierrez cut off her sleeves and added some length to her tiny dress, her beige high heels would probably have looked more appropriate.
Movie director Paul Feig looks elegant in his midnight blue suit. Laurie Karon, his wife, obviously didn’t bother to coordinate her outfit with her spouse and ended up combining four trends in one single look. Yes, floral print, geometric patterns, monochrome trend, and sheer panels are undoubtedly very hot this season, except you wear them separately.
Jennifer Esposito is wearing a gorgeous beige bustier top and cute metallic sandals. Even her denim jacket looks decent, unlike her black pants, that seem to add 5 pounds to her weight.
Not everyone though skipped a check-your-mirror-reflection step. Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady is supposed to spend most of her time repeating that step. So she did and showed up in a white sequined cocktail dress and silver shoes.
Brooke Shields chose a simple yet elegant dress, but it’s her ankle strap black shoes that totally stand out.
Megan Hilty looks lovely in her black mini dress with turqouise and white accents. A red and golden bracelet, pretty black shoes, and a long chain bag complete her stylish look.
Which look do you think is the best one?
