While her ex-bandmates feel furious about the fact Victoria Beckham agreed to join Spice Girls at the closing ceremony at the Olympics only on the condition they will never do a performance again, we can’t actually blame Victoria for that. She is the only one of the five girls who is still on the top. She is a successful designer who has to show the world at least four collections of clothing per year (for her Victoria Beckham and Victoria by Victoria Beckham collections), numerous accessory ranges and be involved into few other projects like designing Range Rovers. Besides, she also has to be a perfect mother for her four children. Aren’t those reasons good enough to refuse to do the singing, which she isn’t actually good at?
Spice Girls Reunion: Victoria Beckham and Girls

However, the other girls seem to be unable to understand that, as a friend close to Geri Halliwell said Ginger Spice commented on the situation:
After the Olympics I can’t imagine even talking to her again, let alone being on a stage with her. Mel B. was right, she has lost the spirit of the band.”
Mel C and Mel B were also very frustrated when Victoria refused to perform at the Diamond Jubilee concert last month.
Geri said at the time:
None of us can understand why she won’t take advantage of these opportunities. Now is the time to be together again as a band and she and Mel B. can’t be in the same room together.”
She added speaking about meeting Beckham at the Viva Forever press launch:
After the stunt she pulled at the Viva Forever press conference she said she’s never perform with us again and then with David not being chosen for the team, she didn’t even want to discuss it.”
A spokesperson for Victoria commented:
The Spice Girls have received some amazing invitations to perform over the last few years, however personal family and professional reasons mean this has not been possible, the Olympics is one more amazing opportunity but no announcement has been made or confirmation given, so this is nothing more than speculation at this time.”
So, after hearing this I would suggest the girls to move on, like Victoria did. She doesn’t stick to her past, but works for the future. And that’s exactly what I respect about her. But I AM waiting for Spice Girls performance! Are you?

I love these pretty girls!
