Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles welcomed a lot of fabulous guests on October 23, 2014. Another CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event was held to gather the fashionable elite in one place. Such a heaven for photographers, isn’t it? What else if not an official and formal event can provide such a great opportunity to take gorgeous pictures of the celebrities. The best thing about it is that one does not have to spy on the star and crawl around just for the sake of a single shot. With evenings like this one it is much easier – the mighties of this world pose with a great pleasure, ready to show off their gloss and charm. What we find interesting in it is, surely, the fashion part.
Best Looks of 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event
My favorite look is the one of Victoria Beckham. I keep admiring this woman. She has so many identities and talents that sometimes I find myself to go jealous over her way of life. Who wouldn’t like to have quite a successful career in music to continue then with the fashion industry? And more than that, she is married to one of the hottest men in the universe – David Beckham, with whom she raises three adorable children. Plus, she gets to attend such wonderful events! This time she opted for an outfit from her own collection which fits her a lot. A collared black shirt with sheer panels matches the pleated skirt with an asymmetric hem. I like how the belt accessorizes the look.
Diane Kruger looked very elegant in Cushnie et Ochs dress. White and black frock with cut-outs and a very artistic pattern seems to be designed especially for the actress. To make the outfit even more striking, Diane added a pair of light mint pumps by Celine and a pale pink clutch.
Kryster Ritter rocked a trendy ensemble by Thakoon. A sexy tank top in red is paired with an adorable leather skirt featuring lace embellishment and a flare fit. I like the moderate length of the skirt – when it comes to the all-red outfits you have to be super careful with how much of your body you want to reveal. Kryster kept up with the golden mean, which is why she looked so stunning. A pair of hot strappy sandals in black by Jimmy Choo finished the saucy look.
Lea Michelle was obviously tired of wearing dresses and went for a jumpsuit. The black piece by Calvin Klein looks fresh and stylish. Lea accessorized her outfit with Vhernier beaded necklace in slate gray, Fendi white clutch with gold styling and Christian Louboutin heels in black. The black and white contrast always looks winning, so no wonder the beauty opted for these shoes.
Rachel Bilson decided to bring some bright colors into the fall routine and rocked an awesome dress by Isabel Marant. I like how yellow, white, peach, gray, red and lime are combined in this outfit. The florals always add a delicate and romantic touch to any outfit, and this one was not an exception. Brian Atwood sandals in bold yellow are exactly what I would add to this frock.
