Dolce&Gabbana Underwear Ads for Summer 2009

Dolce & Gabbana underwear advertising campaign for summer 2009 features five terrific-looking men posing in briefs beside the swimming-pool.

The men at the photos are not professional models, they are swimmers of the Italian National team – Emiliano Brembilla, Paolo Bossini, Alessandro Terrin, Mirko Di Tora and Nicola Cassio.

The choice of having swimmers at the photos rather than models is explained with the World Swimming Championships which are taking place in Rome starting on July 17th.

The campaign was shot by Mariano Vivanco and is to be published in July and August issues in markets throughout the world.

To tell you the truth, I like these pictures with unprofessional models even more than ordinary photos with glossy-looking guys intended to drive you mad with their looks. They look natural and it is good when everything around is so artificial.
