The recent study by Wacoal, a bra company, discovered that nearly 90 million women over the age of 18 are wearing the wrong bra size—that’s eight out of 10 women!
These are simple tips to follow to feel comfortable, beautiful and seductive wearing a bra.
- If you have a full bust, you’ll need a bra with a sturdy foundation that’s one with a larger band and a deeper cup. Remember that the best maximum support bras are not binding. If you don’t have large breasts you can opt for smaller band.
- It’s important a bra doesn’t compress your breasts. If you’re big-busted, don’t think compression will make your bust look smaller and more beautiful. So it’s essential to have a bra with strong materials on the side for better support.
- It you’re a small-busted girl, it’s good for you to use a plunge bra or a demi bra. Silicon pads will also do good to add size. Straps can help you push your bust up and create an alluring cleavage. Again, just like before, make sure the band is firm, if it’s not, your breasts will hang low.
- The band should generally be level or lower on the back for better support. Remember, straps mustn’t be doing all the work, the band should. In wearing any bra your nipple should align halfway between your elbow and your shoulder.
- If you want to push it up, bend over as if reaching to your toes and let your breasts fall naturally in the cup when putting on a bra. This way, the bra will be supporting the weight evenly, lifting the breast from the base.
- If you stick to wearing sports bras, make sure your bras aren’t too tight, otherwise it’s possible you pull the breast ligaments from the back while running. All good sports bars should have extra support layers in side panels.
- If you’re petite, you can create extra boost by using bras with contour lines and extra lining in the bottom of the cup. Removable pads are surely useful to create a boost.
- Strapless bras have extra padding for lift because they’re actually lacking straps, underwire support is good to keep it firm on your torso.
- When planning a night out or a romantic date, make sure your bra looks good and isn’t outlined from under your dress. Molded bras suit perfectly in this case. They have the shape of the breast and give a smoother look.
- Lace underwear is wonderful for a romantic night. Even if the bra isn’t all lace, just having lace details on the straps or sides will make you look absolutely sexy.
- If you’re planning a wedding, make sure you buy the bra that fits before you get the dress, or do it simultaneously. If you have a corset-type wedding dress, you don’t need a bra, if not, you can have a low-cut v-shaped back bra. If you choose a strapless bra, make sure a cup is deep enough not to bind the top of the breast.
