Kate Upton Designed Her Own Swimwear Collection For Beach Bunny

As you know Kate Upton has been the face of Beach Bunny for several seasons in succession now, posing for their lookbooks and ad campaigns, talking to journalists and doing all those different things others do to promote and sell something. She must have been really good at it if the company decided to offer her another deal – to design a range of swimwear for Spring/ Summer 2012. She agreed and here is the result – Kate Upton’s own swim collection. To be sincere I am not impressed.

Kate Upton’s collection, which is sold alongside other Beach Bunny pieces, comes in three basic colors – black, white and pink – and three designs. The difference between the designs isn’t big and is mostly limited to the way tops are adorned. One comes with frills, another is finished with flower details attached to it and the bottom piece, and the third features no adornment at all.

Tops and bottoms from Kate Upton’s swimwear collection for Beach Bunny are sold separately and cost from $135 to $155.

Kate Upton, who covers this year’s Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit issue, said during an interview that Beach Bunny is her ‘favourite swimsuit line’ and designing for it was like a ‘dream come true’. She also added:

I love all the embellishments and especially the lingerie details because they make you feel so sexy.”

Beach Bunny’s CEO, Angela Chittenden, expressed her opinion on their new muse, Kate Upton:

She is sexy, yet confident and her fun loving and down to earth personality are traits that represent the Beach Bunny woman and brand as a whole.”
