Lingerie trends Spring- Summer 2009

Lingerie as well as any other clothing item is subject to fashion changes.

Here are the lingerie trends for this spring and summer 2009. Follow them and be always sexy and stylish!

Black. Black lingerie will always be trendy. This time lacy black sets are on the top. They can be entirely lacy and transparent or with a humble lace trim.

Retro style. Lingerie fashion isn’t changeable much and nearly every year we see retro styles as trendy. You can be radical and choose for a cotton set with knickers or high-waisted panties, or opt for a pin-up set. These look very romantic but can hardly be worn with everyday clothes.

Floral prints. This tendency has been with us for a few seasons already. But new models are distinct for more romanticism.

The most popular detail is a tiny flower pattern on pastel-toned lingerie of retro style. Cute and sentimental. Embroidery is not in fashion this season.

Blue. Blue is a favorite again as in 2007 and 2008. This color looks great on women of summer type.

Blue of this season is bright and vivid: azure, indigo, violet, turquoise. Embroidery on blue looks beautiful if it is made in a contrast color.

Wild prints. Wild prints on lingerie are not so fashionable this year as they used to be previously. I would say safari and jungle styles are almost out of fashion already.

But still some fashion houses believe it is something women will like to wear this summer.

Black-and-white. This color combination is super hot in lingerie as well as in other items of women’s wardrobe during this warm season.

Red. Red is a perfect color for lingerie. Each year certain tones of red become popular. 2009 sees the arousing interest for bright pink and coral hues.

Look for sexy lingerie sets in this color to be right in style!

Classic white and beige. White and beige lingerie is beyond comparison when it comes to sales. It is no wonder these tints are popular – they are versatile and barely seen through the garments.

They are always in style and look cute.

Polka dots. Black and white polka dots, red and black ones for lingerie – aren’t they look interesting?
