Marc Jacobs designs little Marc Swimwear

All children love Summer!

And of course many kids come to the beach with their parents.

And Marc Jacobs uses this idea for his new collection for kids – Little Marc, which launches children beachwear.

The first  Little Marc children outfits were released in 2005 and now the same company that launched their first childrenswear collection has concluded a bargain with a US-based swimsuits patent.

The new kids beach line will hit in 2010.

The range will have about 50 pieces, which include beach cover-ups.

All things will feature prints and shapes infusion by the Marc Jacobs adult RTW collections.

Prices will start at around $25.

People are always looking for mommy-and-me-type things,” Rosemarie DiLorenzo, who owns Swimwear Anywhere – Jacobs new kids swimwear licensee, told WWD. “Honestly, the cuter, the better. The more iconically recognizable, the better. People in this economy are spending on their kids still. That is why we continued with Little Miss Marc and Little Mister Marc.”
